Overview

St Pierre is one of Europe's premier golfing venues and offers a choice of two 18-hole courses including the renowned Old Course host to 11 European tour events and the Solheim Cup including past winners Seve Ballesteros, Greg Norman & Ian Woosnam. The Hotel is set in 400 acres of stunning Monmouthshire countryside, the 14th century manor home that is now home to the hotel at St.Pierre is truly incredible. Marriott St Pierre is within easy access from the M4, M5 and M50, whilst only 12-miles away from Bristol.

Courses

The Old Course

The Old Course is built around an 11-acre lake and studded with many ancient trees, including a giant 400 year-old chestnut that dominates the 2nd hole. It is a delight to play and can claim one of the finest finishes in golf with a thrilling 235-yard par-3 18th including a shot over water to an elevated green protected by sand. It has been host to 11 European tour events and the Solheim Cup including past winners Seve Ballesteros, Greg Norman & Ian Woosnam.

The Mathern Course

The Mathern Course is shorter than the Old but has been vastly improved since its overhaul, when 18 new tee sites were added, bunkers were reconstructed and repositioned and a modern irrigation system installed. Its signature hole is undoubtedly the 14th, which crosses two rivers, but there is lots to enjoy, however you play.

Accommodation

The spacious guest rooms are furnished with the finest furnishings and this attitude has resulted in first class dining and leisure possibilities. All this is embellished by the fact that the resort at St.Pierre is within a short distance of the M4, making it easily accessible for most visitors.
